Gray on blue creates invisible worlds

Where my hands meet dead ends

And I am entranced by the absence of everything

mildly, watching my toes connect

like hinges to the concrete earth

with the way girl flips her hair

and the way boy flips the bird

and the way our desks sit still under gallery lights

For my color is not convincing and I seem to be growing into the walls.
