The Show Must Go On!
Even though it’s Art Market week I still have school, so I’ve been busy wrapping up designs for my end of the semester Thesis Critique and Digital Print/Textile Class. This is a design that goes to print on Friday; it’s a 16″ x 62″ banner that will be hemmed and hung from a dowel. I scanned and arranged my illustrations in Photoshop, and it will be printed on a sheet of bamboo twill.

Engineered Prints (Pt. 3)
This is my last design for the set of juggler’s scarves. The last scarf is a long scarf (10″ X 60″) conceived in the vein of the never-ending scarf a clown might pull out of his sleeve. Thus, the print is engineered to repeat over the sixty inches, and the solid block of color will be knotted (thus giving the illusion of many scarves tied together).

A little girl grows up in the circus, and she makes friends with animals in the menagerie. Or maybe they are just imaginary.
