The Loom Room
Beckman is back in business. After a whirlwind summer of traveling and working, I’m finally home to an organized work space and a work ethic to rival the meanest weaver in town (though how many weavers there actually are in Baltimore, I do not know). We’re approaching my senior year, and with my study abroad work to complete, a thesis to work out, and personal pieces on the back burner, I hardly know what to do with myself.
What I do know is that I function best with a clean studio and organized materials, and while my studio is technically my living room, I spent three hours the other day rearranging every little thing in my sewing desk so I’m good to go.
Woven bookmarks today, circus costumes tomorrow. Get excited.

I’m over here, Miss Rachel. I think I’m the only other one. And you most certainly have a meaner work ethic than me, at least these days. Good work, gal!
